“The use of traveling is to regulate imagination with reality, and instead of thinking of how things may be, see them as they are.” Said by Samuel Johnson, a famous English writer and creator of A Dictionary of the English Language whom of which had a great impact on modern English. His words have inspired me to travel and experience as much of the world as possible.

Nothing changes the way I view my own life experience like seeing the way other people live their lives. Not only am I more appreciative and thankful for the life I have but it also gives me a sense of wonder and empathy for other cultures and countries. I realize the lifestyle and what people value in other countries are different around the world. Experiencing this allows me to see things differently and these new viewpoints can bring about new perspectives on the work I do and the actions I take in my community.
